Meet our November Tea Raffle Donors

Meet The Donors

Nepal Tea

Nepal Tea is a social enterprise that distributes the finest high mountain organic teas from the foothills of Mt. Kanchanjangha, the third highest mountain in the world. Not only do we empower our farmers economically by providing them better revenues, but also uplift them socially by providing free housing, free education to their children and distributing cows for additional income. On the other side, consumers receive fresh high-quality teas at a fair price and an opportunity to directly impact the underprivileged farmers.  Their prize is a container of the Farmer’s  Green (Reserve).

Simpson and Vail

Simpson and Vail’s tea prize is a choice of one of their holiday tea blends like, Nutcracker, Organic Candy Cane, Figgy Pudding, Gingerbread, Holiday Blend, St. Nick’s and Winter Wonderland. At Simpson & Vail, the Harron family’s mission is to uphold the highest standards in quality, service and value, in order to best serve you, our faithful customers. We are dedicated to bringing you the finest quality, most health conscious products available at the fairest prices. Family owned and operated since 1929. See the entire line of holiday blends.

Yunomi

Offering the world’s largest selection of Japanese tea, Yunomi.life bridges linguistic & cultural barriers that separate Japanese tea farmers and tea enthusiasts worldwide. More than “farm-to-table”, we believe in “people-to-people”—at Yunomi.life, read about the farmers who grow your tea, as we translate your feedback into Japanese so the farmers can also learn about you! Commerce can be more about the transaction of goods, it can be a form of communication, conveying the passion of the producers and the appreciation of customers. Their tea prize will be one of their fine Japanese teas.

Cultivate Taste

Jennifer Nowicki’s (creator and owner of Cultivate Taste) early introduction to tea came at her Grandmother’s knee. She carries fond memories of drinking tea with Grandma following delicious homemade family meals. As a young adult, Jennifer discovered loose-leaf teas in Seattle in the mid-nineties that developed her palate even more. In 2005 she enrolled in the Specialty Tea Institute in New York City and immersed herself in the world of tea. Jennifer had found her passion and became acquainted with owners of tea estates, tasted teas not available in the United States, and learned from the experts. Jennifer is the only Certified Tea Specialist in Wisconsin since 2009 and continues to pursue her education with the Institute. She is donating 2 oz of Eastern Beauty Oolong.
