This is the last week of Sip for Peace 2019. Coordinated with the International Day of Peace and other September world peace initiatives, I hope that we inspired some new ideas over last year and set a foundation on which we can grow in 2020. You who participated have helped create many of the new resources that will be added to the project. Over the next year, we will be rolling out final versions of “How To Sip In”, more Imagine Cards, songs and download-ables to use as you plan toward next September. Thank you for sharing this project with our tea community and I look forward to sharing the visions of a peaceful planet in the future.

So, I will end by drawing together the importance of this year’s U.N. theme – Climate Change – with the fact that our international tea community is now struggling with these changes.  Next year’s focus will be on individual tea gardens around the world and one question we will be considering is how tea is changing along with the climate.
