As 2017 comes to a close, we all tend to reflect on the year. For many around the world, it’s been a horrifying year of violence, fear, and distrust. The very foundation of our society and culture has been challenged in a way that I haven’t witnessed in my lifetime.

Rather than focus on the negative aspects, let’s consider looking forward toward a new era in the world. A world of peace. A world of cooperation. A world of honoring the differences rather than fearing them. A world where we leave the next generation a little better off than when we took charge of it.

Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks. I am thankful for everyone associated with T Ching and the efforts that they make consistently to keep our award-winning blog vital and interesting, day after day, week after week, and on and on. Thank you one and all.

I am eternally thankful for living in a place of natural beauty that fills me with wonder each day. My morning ritual of a cup of tea before the day gets away from me, sitting by my window in the living room and looking out, being surrounded by nature’s bounty never ceases to amaze me. It was that cup of tea that got me to stop long enough to look and see the beauty that I’m surrounded by. I never tire of it as it fills me with pleasure each morning, as if I’m looking at it for the very first time.

Wishing you all a time of health and peace.
