My husband has been collecting tee shirts for decades. He has some terrific ones for sure. Old Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, James Taylor, We are the World, to name a few. I see these as fond memories – memories of wonderful concerts that we’ve attended over the years. They provide a concrete representation of countless positive experiences we’ve shared.
I can’t say that I’ve been a tee shirt person. They just don’t work for me. I’m not one to advertise what I like to the world with pictures or symbols across my chest…….until now. I was offered an opportunity to select a Tea Tee shirt from Tea Prints and I decided to go for it despite my historical reluctance. Am I happy I did.
I have to admit that I look forward to wearing it each time I slip it on. People often remark about it and ask where I got it. I like being associated with tea in this way and enjoy turning people onto tea and tea tee shirts. I’ve been following their suggestions of turning the tee shirt inside out to wash and dry it and it’s been working out well. Each time I take it out of the dryer, it looks brand new. The shirt is high-quality cotton and fits remarkably well. All in all. I’m delighted with it. I suspect you will be too.
Whistles through fingers…all right! My partner in my first tea business gave me a present when we were about to open the first store. A light blue sleeveless T-shirt type cotton top that read in script ‘queen of tea’. I still wear it because it’s comfortable, a great color for me..and it does make me feel very ‘tea vogue’. Your deck and background there are great; I’m sure they’ve seen many long, leisurely tea-drinking sessions.
My first instinct was to take the photo with Mt Hood behind me – but my husband reminded me that the mountain would shift the visual away from the tee shirt. It actually looks like a movie scene – snow capped Mt Hood in all its glory. We are blessed to live amongst nature and yes, I have my first cup of tea on the deck each morning, weather permitting, or in front of the window on colder days. I do love the “Queen of Tea” slogan – sounds like a winner to me!
Thank you Michelle! You look great. :)
Ah, Mt. Hood. I was taken up there by a date when I was attending Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland many, many moons ago. Portland is so incredible, I miss it whenever I think about it. So green, the Rose Garden, Multnomah Falls….stop me, somebody! :)
You are welcome to visit any time you desire. My guest room awaits!
