Ah, tea! I sip, I sigh, I smile. Your flavor soothes me
You are familiar, yet new each timeIn your fragrance I feel winter’s breath
A gust of cold warmed by the steam
Your beauty brings the world to me
With each cup I’m in a different land
Each type a different pleasure
Light, happy, open green
Buttered-veggie oolong
Hearty, rich black
The flavors each distinct but
The delight never failing
When shared, the pleasure doubles
Bonded by the warmth of tea
My friends and I grow closer
Strangers become friends
Or all alone, I’m free to dream
Where tea will take me next.

Nice poem Nancy. Can I post it on my website?

So nice to hear your voice again Nancy. You’ve really hit the nail on the head here. I was saying yes, yes, after each verse:)
