As tea devotees, I don’t have to tell you that tea goes with every occasion. For those of you who have done business abroad, particularly in Asia and the Middle East, you are well aware that without tea, there is no business – the two go hand in hand. So, for a Cross Campus event I am leading tomorrow, October 30, in Santa Monica, California, it was only natural – as a tea entrepreneur myself – to incorporate a loose-leaf tea tasting into the session – Helping Women Entrepreneurs Bring Consumer Products to Market.
If you are a woman entrepreneur in need of some business coaching and inspiration, this is just the session for you. As you already know, getting a consumer product to market isn’t easy – but the payoff for getting it right is big. I walked in your shoes, turning my passion for tea into a multimillion-dollar company, Zhena’s Gypsy Tea. Just like you, I started with an idea and a dream, eventually building a leading, fair trade global brand and raising over $8 million in venture capital along the way. I will share insights with you on the challenges faced by women trying to establish market-leading consumer brands, but the idea is to create a dialogue among all attendees – an idea exchange and a pep rally rolled into one, all lubricated with some terrific loose-leaf tea.
If you are interested in joining us, register now – there are still spots available for this intimate, salon-style session. That’s tomorrow, October 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. And if you are a T Ching subscriber, you can enjoy the member rate of $30 (that’s a $10 discount)! Look forward to seeing you there!
