Nothing matters.
The bills to pay;
What others say;
The traffic and the tension
Of living in convention;
The thoughts and the stress
Which can make us all depressed.
Nothing really matters that much.
Tea matters.
Carving a space in time;
Seeking the rhythm and the rhyme
In the preparation;
Enjoying the anticipation;
Feeling the steamy embrace
As it folds around your face;
Taking time for tea matters.
Everything matters.
The smile on a beloved face;
Moving through life with grace;
The awareness of the flow;
Feeling contented in your soul;
Enjoying each leaf and sunrise.
It is easy to surmise
Everything truly important matters.

Thanks for the simple reminder – so many little things do matter. IF we can stop long enough to tune in, there is a feast of delight in front of us. Tea has the ability to help us stop – look- and listen.
