I found this article and just thought it was a simple and well written introductory summary that differentiates tea from tisanes, gives a simple explanation of the different types of tea, discusses some of the major health benefits and clarifies which form of tea will give you the best health bang for your buck, if that is what you are looking for.

The only piece of information I take exception with is the comment about caffeine; it’s a bit misleading. The author states potential side effects of insomnia and diuresis from drinking too much tea (but doesn’t state what too much indicates). With white and green tea, that would generally require a lot more tea consumption than the vast majority of people would even consider.
